FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF RETIREMENT!

FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF RETIREMENT!

For the sake of those who are interested in following these things—(Hello Steve)—I spent my first night in the RV at Bingemans Park in Kitchener Ontario. The last time I was at Bingemans was during Frosh Week, 1967 at Waterloo Lutheran University when I spent an evening attempting to learn how to roller skate. (The rink is gone and Bingemans has grown; but it is still in the family.)

Last night, August 28, I spent my second night in my new home in Beaumont Quebec at Camping Carol on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. The location, C'est Magnifique! And the campground is quiet. I'd still like to know where the owners collected over 100 old washing machine and dryer drums to act as fire pits.

Unfortunately it's time to hit the road as I hope to make the next entry from the North Shore of Prince Edward's Island.
